Publication Date:  2003
Rating: Amazing, Must Read

Summary:  Long ago Dragon Riders protected Alegaisia, until Galbatorix slew them and took the throne. On a hunting trip, a farmboy named Eragon, discovers one of the three remaining dragon eggs. Soon Eragon has become a Dragon Rider, and sets off with Brom after Urgals destroy his home. Now, as Eragon travels in a desperate pursuit of the Ra`zac, he will discover where his loyalties lie. Nothing will ever be the same for Eragn. Secrets are all around him, and he needs to know, r else he may not live to see another day.
What I liked:  Eragon is truly amazing. Christopher Paolini really did an amazing job creating Alegaisia. The only thing I did not like, was the fact that it ended so soon. I really hope Christopher Paolini comes out with a sequel soon!

Review: Silmarillion

Author: J.R.R Tolkien

Series:   Silmarillion

Publication Date: 1999

Rating: Recomended

Summary: Before the rings,  the silmarils and trees of light were there. Before Sauron, Melkor twisted the elves. The Silmarillion reveals all that was before the rings of power. It shows what happened in the very beginning. The Silmarillion tells all from the Valar's origins, to the tale of Luthien and Beren, to the start of Sauron.

What I liked: This book was great. It explains everything that a reader would want to know after reading Tolkien's Lord of The Rings. The collection of tales residing under the cover are truly magical. The only thing I did not like, were the tales that overlapped some-what. Otherwise, it was amazing!

Review: Alex Van Helsing- Vampire Rising

Author:   Jason Henderson

Series:    Alex Van Helsing, book 1

Publication Date:   2010

Rating: Amazing, must read

Summary: Alex Van Helsing is a normal boy, with astonishing abilities. Shortly after he moved to his new school, vampires target the students forcing him to join the Polidorium, a society hunting the vampire city of  Scholomance. Adventures await Alex in "Vampire Rising".
What I liked: Usually I do not like vampire books at all, but this was amazing. Alex's adventures capture you and will keep you on the end of your seat. The thrill of the hunt for the " Scholomance" and the rescue of Alex's friends balance out the vampire sections with action.

Review: Wildwood Dancing

Author:Juliet Marillier
Series: Wildwood dancing, book 1
Publication Date: 2007
Rating:Highly Recomended
Summary:Magic, mystery, and romance shroud the mystical forest known as Wildwood. One little game starts five sisters in Romania on an adventure like no other. Dancing under the full moon brings two forbidden lovers ( one possibly dangerous), one magical toad, and an ancient witch who might just be as evil as stories tell. With the girl's father dying, will the true evil be revealed before it is too late?
What I liked: This book was really good. You never suspect any of the suprises that you find. The mystical Wildwood forest brings a amazing addition  to a tale of five sisters and a talking toad. This is a wonderful twist on the story of the Twelve Dancing Princesses.
